Automation Evolution a Probable Replacement For People Service in the Ghanaian QuickServiceRestauarants Sector.

Reliable communication, mobility accessibility (#uber and #okada) and Accra City itself (as a growing Cosmopolitan) is gradually paving the grounds for competition among the QuickServiceRestauarants (#KFC #BurgerKing #Pizzahut #Papaye, #StarBite, #PizzaInn, etc)

Population growth, increased income levels coupled with busy time schedules, development of motorable road networks , the introduction of shopping malls, smartphones and the 4G Internet have contributed to the surge of the Ghanaian QuickFoodService Sector. 

Within a span of 5years, there have been an addition of close to 10 international #foodservicebrands with multiple outlets spread out at strategic locations to provide easy accessibility and convenience to it target markets. At service points;
Counter-Patrons are usually seen in queues during promotions and happy hours, whiles the Drive-Tru Patrons are served in motor traffics. From this point view, I will want to be like “There is definitely going to be automation evolution in the Ghanaian #Hotels and #Restaurants sector, and not just as a way to keep costs down,  “Depending on the type of restaurant, there will be certain levels of hospitality that require different levels of human interaction.”
With these high patronage huge traffic, food service operators are more likely to adopt the automation technology where human interactions will be replaced with machines or technology to #QuickServe  their busy Patrons who are typically described to be the kinds that usually wants their foods on the go.

The results will be that less people will be employed into this sector. And so the early we realise this the better. Employees in the foodservice industries today must start to think about "what is possible tomorrow -  maybe, they can start seeking after ways to diversify their skills - learn or sharpen their skills in #FineDining or #industrialCatering etc. Which-ever-way, they must be innovative or start developing an entrepreneurial mindset.
